Das Meyer Fine Pastry Chalet in Arvada

I went to dos Meyer to get my daughter a birthday cake and she had requested Irish cream chocolate cake. They didn't have anything like that and so I got a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse feeling. The cake itself was beautiful, definitely something to look at. But the cake and the frosting were overly sweet and just not a very good chocolatey flavor.

A little piece of pastry heaven. As a transplant to Colorado, I was thrilled to find Das Meyer. Having been spoiled by a German Grandmother and a Mother who expressed their love through baking, I'm a harsh critic. But one bite of their beautiful and delicious butter cookies made me feel like I was home. I intend to be a frequent visitor to Das Meyer. It will take a lifetime to try everything they have to offer.

Seriously cannot say enough good things about this place! We used them for our wedding cake and again for a birthday cake (which we picked up today). Both times I have been absolutely blown away with the level of thought they put into decorating their cakes and they truly taste as good as they look. They recognized us as repeat customers when we went in today.For this cake we only asked for it to say "Happy Birthday Scott" and that it have the sugar lemons on it. Their creativity always goes above and beyond.

Absolutely the best place to get cakes. I just recently celebrated my sons second party. I provided a picture and they made it happen! And the cake was delicious!! (We ordered the South Beach guava.) We had also gotten another cake for my bday, the strawberries and champagne. I had MANY friends asking for their information after this (maybe a referral discount?)😉On another serious note we will be returning for every birthday we need a cake. I mean just look at this piece of work!!!

I don't typically write reviews, but we were so happy with our birthday cake for our 7 year old that I felt the need. We knew he wanted a Roblox themed cake - and we mentioned that. We dropped of a couple Roblox toys and ended up with this beautifully decorated piece of art. They completely came up with this whole look on their own. Our son was so excited for this cake and it was extremely delicious as well. I don't buy cakes that often, but when I do they're getting all my business :)
